NOTE: Omg, look at the color of your perfume bottle, Vy! It’s a soft pink, gentle just like you.
Vy: Maybe it’s because of the lotus. It’s actually my favorite flower. It brings a sense of elegance and calmness, yet it never fades into the background. I truly love it. Oh, and I even convinced my boyfriend to add lotus into his formula. Say something, David!
David: Well… she succeeded in convincing me to add lotus into what I thought was my very masculine formula. But I actually like it. The floral scent isn’t overly delicate, and I appreciate it.
NOTE: So, David, what inspired you to create your perfume, and which note is your favorite?
David: Inspiration? I guess I just followed my instincts *He laughs*. I like a scent that feels warm but still carries a touch of wood and the freshness of the forest. I don’t really have many stories about fragrances. Oh, I especially like Figtree; it gives that lush, green forest feeling, very refreshing. But it’s quite cool, so I was advised to add Amber and Sandalwood to bring more warmth to the skin. As for the masculine vibe… hmm… I think it comes from the Bergamot note. Even though it’s considered fresh, it still feels masculine, slightly spicy, and a bit bitter.
Vy: You said you just followed your instincts, yet you have so much to share about it *she giggles and playfully nudges his arm.*
NOTE: Sounds like you’re really happy with your creation.
David: Absolutely!
NOTE: And how about you, Vy? What inspired you to create your perfume?
Vy: Me? Well, as a flower lover, I drew my inspiration from a blooming garden and tried to add every floral note available into the formula. But I soon realized that wasn’t quite right. You know, there are countless types of flowers, and the same goes for floral scents. Some fit my style perfectly, while others don’t. So I imagined my perfume bottle and the occasion I would wear it to, and that made my inspiration flow more easily. I like an elegant style, so it had to be a fragrance with the aura of a refined lady – soft yet captivating, lingering, and sophisticated. It feels like I’m writing an essay, doesn’t it? Oh, and my perfume also contains “Figtree,” just like his. Maybe that’s our little connection.
NOTE: Are there any other notes that impressed you?
Vy: Hmm… probably Moroccan Rose, Green Note, and Oakmoss. And for Moroccan Rose… Well, you know, I’ve always loved flowers. As for Green Note and Oakmoss… I’m not sure why, but they feel fresh, pure, and so unique. The scent of oakmoss, in particular, lingers with me.
NOTE: I guess both of you really love your perfumes. Have you decided on their names yet?
David: Should I go first, Vy? Can I?
Vy: Oh my, go ahead. Why are you asking for my permission today? *Vy laughs*
David: I chose the name “Dizzy Dookie”
NOTE: Does it have a special meaning?
David laughs loudly: Actually… I don’t even know if I should say this. “Dookie” means “poop.”
Vy: Oh my god, Daviddd! You’re impossible.
NOTE: Oh dear, why did you pick that name?
David: Honestly, I’ve had that name in my head for such a long time but never knew what to use it for. Today, I finally got to give it to something. It doesn’t have any deep meaning, and I really like my perfume.
NOTE: And you, Vy? What name did you choose?
Vy: “It’s a Match”. You know, in our formulas there are notes we both love, isn’t that a perfect “match”? Also, David and I met on Tinder; we “matched” on the app, started dating, and now we’re about to get married. To me, everything feels like a beautiful coincidence. I want my perfume to capture that feeling of excitement and the first spark of love when we matched on Tinder.
NOTE: That’s wonderful! It’s like destiny brought you two together. Truly “It’s a Match” Congratulations to both of you.
Vy: Thank you, NOTE. We’re so happy. This is our first time creating a perfume, and we even got to name our own creations. It brings back so many memories of when we first matched on Tinder, and now, as we start our life together, it all feels like fate.
