Perhaps summer is a season that never truly leaves us. Even when it slips away and autumn’s cool breath begins to settle upon the world, something inside us continues to long for its warmth, the sun soaked days, the sweetness of ripe berries, the clean scent of wind brushing over earth, all wrapped in the vibrant hum of its restless energy. A season that forever stirs a gentle ache of remembrance.
Philter returned to NOTE two months after his early summer visit to Vietnam. The freshness of monsoon rain and the buoyant joy of those bright days had awakened in him a yearning, a desire to hold onto summer through fragrance. From the very first spray, he had fallen for the sparkling blend of lemon and watermelon in Lemonmelon.

But now, standing at the edge of summer’s farewell, Philter wanted something deeper. A final and personal keepsake. A scent that belonged to him alone yet still carried the breath of the season he loved. At NOTE, Sarah, the consultant who had guided him before, recognized him instantly.
“I am glad you still remember me, Sarah.” he smiled.
“You are one of my unforgettable clients, Phil, someone who loves summer with his whole heart.”
The sky begins to dim. A summer rain gathers at the horizon.
Sarah: Welcome back, Phil. What kind of fragrance do you wish to create this time?
Philter: I adore perfumes and own many already, most of them woody. So this time, I want something that feels purely like summer, fresh, bright, alive. And I have a trip to Phu Quoc soon. I think it would suit that perfectly.
Sarah: I remember how much you wanted Lemonmelon last time and how disappointed you were when it was out of stock.
Philter, laughing softly: And now I am back to redeem my fate. I want a scent that feels like summer in its purest form, with citrus that is a little tart so it stays crisp on my skin. A fragrance that becomes part of me once it touches my body. Is that too much to ask?
Sarah: How about a whisper of Airy Note for the feeling of early morning light and a twist of yellow lemon for brightness? You can smell them first if you want to be sure.
Philter: It feels incredibly fresh, but what if we added something quieter too, something like the hush of a summer forest?
Sarah: Then let’s add a trace of coolness from Green Note and balance it with just a few drops of wood. I promise it won’t overshadow the summer brightness you’re aiming for.
Philter: This is beautiful. This smells like every beach I have ever loved. I can see myself already, wearing a linen shirt, wandering along the shoreline, letting the waves catch my toes. I cannot wait for the moment I finally wear this fragrance.
Even when summer has passed, you can still hold on to its spirit: the sea breeze, the scorching sunlight, the juiciness of ripe fruits, or simply a scent that brings summer back to you.
